Through campimetry or computerized visual field (CVC) we can clearly detect those areas of our visual field where our vision has been reduced to a greater or lesser extent. Graphically -by means of a color code- we can clearly distinguish these areas. The areas with greater vision have lighter tones and those with less vision darker.
The test takes no more than 5 minutes per eye. It consists of looking at a cross inside a machine. Lights of different intensities are coming out around this cross, at which point we must press a button. In this way, the machine will know the lights that we have seen and those that we have not in order to build an accurate image of our visual field.
